We see how people coming from poor sections keep fighting for their existence in the cities day and night, especially the people living in the roadside and slums. In such a situation, many people want to start some small work, but do not step forward due to lack of money and awareness in society, especially women. As an effective tool for women to gain entrepreneurial opportunities, the I Can Foundation is implementing female leadership in the Small and Medium Enterprises (WLSME) program.
- To create skills for women through our Initiative of Skill Development 'Udgam Centre'.
- Developing confidence in women to start there own work.
- To inform women about the techniques or dealing of the market.
- To help them set up small business for there livelihood.
In a compartmentalized world, the rights of women and those of children have often been promoted in isolation from one another.
"I CAN" shows how discrimination and other human rights violations against women affect children and vice versa.
